We are proud to partner with the family of Tony Conigliaro, legendary Red Sox alum, in bringing his life story to an even larger audience!
It was a who's who of Boston legends, loud mouths, lookers and muscle! Richie Conigliaro had a bash to Retire Number 25 for his late great brother Tony C at Tony C's Sports Bar & Grill and everyone came to pay respects, and talk Tony C, Red Sox History and even movie making! Join Lou Markakis and crew in this night of comedy (little salty), music and fun. Look out Boston.
Among the star-studded attendees of our event was Peter Farrelly, director and producer of titles such as "Dumb and Dumber", "Shallow Hal", "Me, Myself, and Irene", and "There's Something About Mary". Farrelly spoke with The Boston Globe about what Tony C's legacy - and potential number retirement - mean to him. Check it out!
In August of 2017, radio personality Billy Costa sat down with Boston North TV producer Lou Markakis and Tony C's brother, Richie Conigliaro, to discuss Retire 25 and the impact of the famed player's career. The conversation was broadcast on 104.9 FM.
